Photo of Il Circolo Operaio Italiano (Italian Worker's Club) members during their foot race held in front of the Italian Hall in Los Angeles. The club was one of the organizations headquartered at the Italian Hall. The race began at the Italian Hall and ended in Lincoln Park. Pictured are: Dominich Basso (who owned the Chrysler dealership on Broadway at the time), Frank Ghiosso, Frank Aprato, Charles Aprato, John Duretto (#6), Giacomo "Jim" Castellano (#37), John Aprato, Frank Arconti (3rd figure from the left, wearing a white button up shirt, a dark vest, a tie and no hat) and Emil Pozzo (3rd figure from the right, wearing a white button up shirt, a dark vest with a chain on the front and no hat). This photo is the same image as 555-542-02, but it is mounted on green/gray cardboard. |
