Black and white group photograph with a "Pontrelli" Studio watermark on the bottom right corner. The caption on the bottom is in white letters which read "Pugliese Lodge No. 1375 - O.S.I.A. Officers 1957". O.S.I.A stands for Order Sons of Italy in America. This lodge was headquartered at St. Peter's Italian Church. Several of these families were involved in the grocery business. The LaBianca and the De Santis families owned the Gateway Markets grocery chain, a popular grocery chain until the 1970s. The Sciarra family owned a meat market in the North Broadway Little Italy enclave in Los Angeles. There is an attached description on back side of photo which reads: Visiting Officers State - Standing: Mike Sciarra, Tony Lombardo, Sam LaBianca, Victor Monteleone, Bruno Giuffrida (Pres.
