1 burlap, potato sack from "Potato Sales Company, Los Angeles, Calif. 90021". Lorenzo Cancellieri (immgrant from Sicily to Louisiana to Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles) became a produce seller, and was among the first to ship California wine grapes across the country via rail. In the 1950s, Cancellieri’s son, Lawrence, established a produce trucking business, and co-founded what became one of the region’s largest potato distribution companies, Potato Sales. The company was located in Los Angeles' Wholesale Produce Mart at 1104 Lawrence Street. Potato sack text includes: "U.S. No. 1 Bruin's Best Brand" Cartoon of three yellow bears.
